Curated by Sara Antónia Matos in collaboration with the Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, the ‘Júlio Pomar – works from the Millennium bcp collection’ exhibition at the bank’s gallery brings together almost 40 works divided into three sections, featuring some of the most vigorous, exhilarating pictorial phases in the artist’s career.  For the exhibition, the Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar lent Millennium bcp a set of unpublished studies, drawings and photographs which allow the execution of the final works on canvas and tapestry to be understood – a unique opportunity to understand the artist’s creative process.

A catalogue was produced for the occasion, with information sheets on all of the works exhibited, images, and texts reflecting on the activity of collecting.
