This exhibition marked the inaugural event of an annual cycle of encounters between Pomar’s work and that of other artists, all held at the Atelier-Museu. For this initial show, the other artist invited was sculptor Rui Chafes (born 1966), whose work essentially consists of iron sculptures. The exhibition takes a three-pronged approach to the work of the two artists, looking at their themes, their dynamism and their drawing.
