Parte Crítica (Critical part) is the name given to the collection of critical and reflective texts that the Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar began in 2017, within the ambit of its editorial project: Cadernos do Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar-Documenta. The collection’s name is based on ‘Parte escrita’ (Written part), the title of the three volumes of critical texts published by Júlio Pomar between 1942 and 2013 and reissued by the Atelier-Museu. Parte Crítica includes texts by a select number of authors dedicated to thinking about and analysing the criticism, essays and poetry of Júlio Pomar.
