In conjunction with the exhibition Treatise on the Eyes, which ran at the Atelier-Museu between 28 February and 29 September 2014, the Education Service put on a series of activities and workshops for children, young people and adults, with a focus on the written word and its potential links with drawing, plus a theoretical workshop on art criticism.

In order to broaden knowledge and develop technical and artistic practice, partnerships were created with a number of schools, with the aim of involving their respective teachers and providing stimulation for pupils. In an initial phase, the pupils were given guided tours of the Atelier-Museu, followed by workshops led by museum guides at the schools themselves.

Two drawing and writing workshops for children, young people and adults were also held at the Library of the Church of Santa Catarina, the former convent of the Daughters of St Paul, a space with which the museum collaborates and which has proven to be a source of inspiration for participants.
