The exhibition Júlio Pomar and Cabrita Reis: Of small things(01/06–08/10/2017) is the third in a series of shows aimed at promoting a productive dialogue between Júlio Pomar (b. 1926) and artists of later generations. In this instance, the artist Cabrita Reis (b. 1956) places his sculptures, produced using found objects, in dialogue with the assemblages that Júlio Pomar has been creating since the 1960s. By investigating how their work interrelates and intersects, the two artists scrutinise their artistic output and the relationships that they have established with the contemporary scene.
